Welcome to Back To Basics Fire Training
Our Story
Back To Basics Fire Training was established in 2019 to fill a training need for volunteer fire departments in Northeast Connecticut.
Northeast Connecticut is primarily served by volunteer fire departments whose members are not a match for the traditional State Fire Academy schedule. The members work full time jobs on top of volunteering at their fire departments and require training that fits into their already busy lives.
Since 2019 Back To Basics Fire Training has expanded to include Industrial Fire Brigade Training, Fire Safety and Extinguisher Training to businesses and our specialized Youth Fire Study Program.
